Lessons from the Road…

September 13th, 2009

After our show at the Something Fantastic Festival in Logan, OH, we decided that we would spend the few hours we had before traveling to the next gig to get some shut eye. Exhausted from time on the road, we decided to stop at the first motel we passed.

Looks harmless from the outside

Ok, door is a little mangy but could be worse

Door had been kicked in without being replaced…

Bob was the first one to get the hell out of there…

So if your in Columbus, OH and looking for a Grade A motel.  Make the Knights Inn your place.

Check out our “Conversations to Nowhere” from the Something Fantastic Festival…

OPENING FOR UMPHREY’S MCGEE!!!!!!

September 2nd, 2009

You don’t know how ecstatic I am posting this latest entry. We had been looking forward to this show since Joel Cummins called us and told us we would be opening this intimate show! We didn’t waste one minute as we spent time practicing our tunes, deciding our set, promoting the show and all the other many preparations we made in order to perform our best. But the minute we hit the stage and played the first notes of All Around the World, everything else seemed to disappear and out set seemed to fly by!

We want to thank Umphrey’s McGee for letting us perform in front of their fans and getting things started for them.

We want to thank all of our fans, many of which had to travel far distances and those who saw us for the first time, for coming out! We look forward to seeing you all very soon!

To try and describe what happens every year at Willow Ranch is damn near impossible. A small farm that throws a big party. We want to thank everyone for bearing the heat, dust and Tesh and coming out early to have a dancing good time with us.

Also we want to thank the employees of Sherman’s for serving us some dank late night ice cream
